Routes 2 Roots: An App for Cultural Exchange
Routes 2 Roots is a free educational app developed by the Delhi-based non-profit organization Routes 2 Roots. The app is designed to promote cultural exchange and disseminate information about art and heritage to people worldwide. The NGO has hosted numerous international programs, exhibitions, and concerts on a non-commercial basis with the aim of spreading the message of peace.
The app provides users with access to carefully curated cultural programs, including Celebration of 60 years of diplomatic ties between India and China, Celebration of 65 years of Indo-Russian diplomatic ties, and Festival of India in South Africa, among others. The app also features information about important functions hosted in India, attended by the honorable President of India, Governors, Chief Ministers, and Ministers, as well as people from all walks of life. Additionally, Routes 2 Roots undertakes the world's largest oral histories "Exchange for Change" program, which is a year-long activity culminating in select children visiting each other's countries.
